Revered as the Patron Saint of Firefighters, Saint Florian rejected the Roman practice of setting fire to Christian villages, risking his life instead to spare the villagers from this horrible fate.

This coin salutes the NRA's consistent and vigorous defense of the Second Amendment. The obverse depicts Saint Florian of Lorch, the Patron Saint of Firefighters, battling a blaze alongside a modern-day firefighter. The reverse contains the text of the Second Amendment and includes a quote from Thomas Jefferson that reads: "No Free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms."

Minted in one Troy ounce of .999 pure silver, this coin is selectively plated in 24-karat gold. Each piece comes sealed in a tarnish-resistant Lucite capsule and mounted in a museum-quality leatherette presentation box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
