The
Official Coin of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, this medallion
is three inches in diameter with a finely detailed antique finish and
warm lustrous highlights. Displayed in a leatherette case with wood
display base. The text on the back reads, "Whatever else history may
say about me when I'm gone, I hope it will record that I appealed to
your best hopes, not your worst fears; to your confidence rather than
your doubts. My dream is that you will travel the road ahead with
liberty's lamp guiding your steps and opportunity's arm steadying your
way".
This medallion is also available in antique silver.
The Design
Noted
artist Diane Turner designed the master artwork. Both the obverse and
reverse were beautifully sculpted by esteemed sculptor Charles Vickers.
The obverse features the bust of Ronald Reagan. The reverse
features a quote of Reagan contemplating his hopes about how history
will record his vision.
