Shipping Date and Processing Times

Order processing generally takes 1-3 business days from time of order placement for items we have in stock. Custom, personalized, and special order items may take longer. We try to send everything in one package and order processing times may be delayed if one item is out of stock on your order. Sorry, no CODs.

Orders received by noon or before will be processed that day and orders received after noon Pacific Time or received on holidays or weekends will be processed on the next business day. Expedited orders must be in by noon Pacific Time in order to be shipped that day. Next Business Day shipping orders received on holidays or weekends will be processed the first following business day, and arrive the next business day after that.

Expedited shipping (3rd business day, 2nd business day, next business day) is not available to Canada, Puerto Rico, Guam, APO/FPOs, or Post Office Boxes. Next Business Day shipping is not available to Alaska, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Three Business Day shipping is not available to Hawaii.

Orders shipped standard ground (default method) usually take 3-5 business days to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date). Orders shipped with Three Day Shipping usually take 3 business days to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date). Orders shipped with Two Day Shipping usually take 2 business days to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date). Orders shipped next day usually take 1 business day to delivery from the time we process and ship the goods (shipping date).

SHIPPING CONFIRMATION EMAILS

We will send you a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped that will include a tracking number. You will be sent a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number for every shipment.

SHIPPING IN MULTIPLE PACKAGES

If your order includes several items, they may ship separately and at different times. So that we can deliver your purchases to you as efficiently as possible, items which ship from the same location are grouped together.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

There are three easy ways to track your order:

Click on the Order Status link in the footer of each page. You will need your order number, billing last name and billing zip code.

Log in to ‘Your Account’ and go to the ‘View Order History’ section. From there you will be able to choose which order you’d like to view and you will have an option to track the order.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email when all or part of your order is shipped. The email will include the UPS tracking number.

DELIVERING YOUR PACKAGE

We process and ship packages Monday through Friday, with Saturday delivery upon request and for an additional charge. At this time, we do not offer shipping or delivery on Sunday or holidays.

For your security, your order may be delayed if your shipping address is different from your billing address (we use this additional time to help ensure the security of your credit information).

Lost or Damaged Parcels

We expect to provide you with accurate and timely delivery. Most parcels reach their destination promptly and without incident. However, sometimes a parcel is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. Parcels shipped with a value of more than $100 are insured by the common carrier for full merchandise value. We are not responsible for parcels lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. Please contact the common carrier used (information will be in your order confirmation email) to file a claim.

 Undeliverable Parcel

If the common carrier is unable to deliver the shipment for any reason, whether unclaimed, refused, invalid or unknown address, or any other reason, we will, upon return of the shipment to us, charge a nominal 20% restocking fee for the entire purchase price, less shipping and handling fees, which are non-refundable. If you wish for us to resend your shipment, you will be charged additional shipping charges.

Return and Exchange Policy

Northwest Territorial Mint, LLC. fully warrants all coins, knives and other non-bullion products available in our online store. Such merchandise can be returned for refund or exchange at the discretion of the customer within 30 days of purchase and must include the original order number. Items that have customer-requested engraving, however, are not returnable.

 

Special Considerations for Bullion Orders

Order Liquidation Policy
When you place your online bullion order, you enter into a binding contractual agreement with Northwest Territorial Mint to remit payment in full based on the prevailing market purchase price agreed upon at the time your order was placed. Should you choose to buy-back your order prior to the date of delivery, Northwest Territorial Mint will liquidate your position based on the prevailing market purchase price at the time of buy back, provided you have properly paid us. You will be liable for any difference in the event of market loss. If the prevailing market price of the items has gone up since your order, Northwest Territorial Mint will pay you the higher prevailing market price for your items. However, in the event we are unable to ship your order by the date promised, we will contact you and give you the option of buying back your order based on the spot market price at that time or agreeing to wait an additional period of time for your order, which shall not be more than 30 days. If we are unable to deliver after the additional period of time has elapsed we will pay you the full purchase price or the prevailing spot market price, whichever is higher.

Bullion Shipping Time
Our policy is to ship orders promptly after you have properly paid us. We hold your payment for five business days to protect against credit card fraud. In most cases your order will ship within five business days after funds have cleared. Occasionally we will need to back-order your merchandise. However, reductions in inventory resulting from an increased demand for certain bullion products and other reasons may delay shipping. If we cannot ship your order within the delivery time as described here, we will inform you prior to the expiration of that period of time that we are unable to meet the delivery date, and you may buy back your order and obtain a full payment of the prevailing market price at the time of liquidation.

Generally, gold, palladium and platinum are shipped via United States Postal Service Registered Insured mail. Silver may be shipped via UPS or Federal Express.

Voluntary Liquidation of Your Order (aka "Buy-Back" of Your Order)
At any time after you have fully paid for your order, even if it's before you've received delivery of your bullion, you can sell your order back to us at the current market rate. We will buy back the items you ordered at the Buy price posted on our product pages at bullion.nwtmint.com.

If the bullion market has gone up since you placed your order: You will benefit from any gain in the market. A $35.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from the total of the Buy Back price. All shipping charges will be fully refunded. Balance of the Buy Back transaction will be credited to the credit card account used to pay for the original transaction.

If the bullion market has gone down since you placed your order: You are liable for market loss on your order computed by subtracting the Buy Back price of the items you ordered from the total of the original transaction. A $35.00 cancellation fee will be deducted from the total of the Buy Back price. All shipping charges will be fully refunded. Balance of the Buy Back transaction will be credited to the credit card account used to pay for the original transaction.
