Canis lupus The Gray Wolf, also known as the Timber Wolf, is the largest of the wild dogs in North America. Possessing a stocky body and powerful limbs, the Gray Wolf averages 4-5 feet in length and typically weighs up to 80 pounds. Traveling in packs, these territorial animals exhibit an impressive range, sometimes migrating several hundred miles in search of hunting grounds. Fierce predators, Gray Wolves often attack mammals much larger than themselves, such as moose, elk, and deer. This coin features a detailed depiction of a Gray Wolf on its obverse. Bordered by a classic wreath design, the reverse contains a space for engraving. This coin is minted in a proprietary brass alloy and given a durable antique bronze finish. Each coin comes packaged with a descriptive header card. We are sorry to inform you that at this time we are no longer offering engraving services. We recommend you take any pieces to your local Trophy & Award shop, or retailers that specialize in engravable products such as "Things Remembered", and they will be able to engrave our products for you.
