Standing more than seven feet tall and weighing up to 1,200 pounds, the moose is the largest antlered animal in the world. Possessing exceptionally long and powerful limbs, Moose can run at speeds of up to thirty-five miles per hour, bounding through the forest with their stiff-legged gait. They are also highly proficient swimmers and can wade through mountain streams and rivers at speeds of up to six miles per hour for extended periods of time. Protected by their coarse brown coat, they typically favor higher elevations and frequently migrate up and down mountain slopes in search of grazing areas. Easily recognizable, Moose sport an enormous pair of antlers that range in length from five to six feet. This coin features a detailed depiction of a Moose on its obverse. Bordered by a classic wreath design, the reverse contains a space for engraving. This proof-like coin is minted in MerlinGold,® a proprietary brass alloy that simulates the look and feel of gold. Each coin comes sealed in an airtight Lucite capsule and packaged with a descriptive header card. We are sorry to inform you that at this time we are no longer offering engraving services. We recommend you take any pieces to your local Trophy & Award shop, or retailers that specialize in engravable products such as "Things Remembered", and they will be able to engrave our products for you.
