Coin PackagingProviding financial support, account management, and fiscal oversight to sustain the U.S. Army's global operations, the Finance Corps is instrumental to the success of America's military.

Founded in 1775 by the Continental Congress, the modern Finance Corps was created in 1950 as one of the U.S. Army's basic branches. It is charged with the mission of funding Army, Joint, and Combined Operations, managing commercial vendor and contract payments, and controlling the Army's pay, disbursing, banking, and currency services. Meeting the financial needs of National Guard, Reserve, and active-duty soldiers and their families throughout the world, the members of the Finance Corps provide vital combat service support to propel America's Army forward to victory.

This coin salutes every member of the Army Finance Corps for their unmatched skill and unwavering dedication to duty. The obverse replicates the gold diamond design of the official Finance Corps Branch Plaque. The reverse bears the seal of the U.S. Army.

Minted in a brass alloy and finished in bronze, this coin is imbued with enamel on both sides. Each coin comes packaged with a detailed header card that describes the mission and history of the U.S. Army.
