Civil Air Patrol Coaster
Formed just days before the infamous Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941, the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) was a vital part of America's aerial arsenal throughout World War II.
Comprised entirely of volunteers with little or no military training, the first pilots of the CAP proved extremely effective in performing coastal patrol missions and engaging in anti-submarine warfare. Today, the Civil Air Patrol is the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force and primarily conducts non-combat search and rescue and reconnaissance missions.
This chrome coin coaster salutes the enduring service of the Civil Air Patrol as it continues to aid in America's air defense. Framed by a bright blue silicone top pad, the coin displayed features the official Civil Air Patrol emblem. Each coaster comes packaged in a durable plastic sleeve with an attractive header card.
