US Mint PackagingU.S. Mint Uncirculated 2010 Boy Scouts of America® Centennial Silver Dollar

This U.S. Mint uncirculated 2010 Boy Scouts of America® Centennial Silver Dollar commemorates the Boy Scouts of America® and is a dramatic representation of how the Scouts have evolved over the past century to form a strong foundation of leadership, service and community for all the youth of America.  Since 1910, more than 111 million people have participated in the organization’s traditional programs.

Extraordinarily brilliant, the uncirculated 2010 Boy Scouts of America® Centennial Silver Dollar displays sharp relief and background to highlight the images on both sides. The obverse design represents the Boy Scouts of America® of today, more diverse than in the past. In the foreground is a Cub Scout™, with a Boy Scout™ and female Venturer in the background, all smartly saluting.

Obverse inscriptions are Continuing the Journey, 1910, 2010, In God We Trust, and Liberty. The reverse features the Boy Scouts of America’s® emblem with inscriptions of United States of America, Boy Scouts of America®, Be Prepared®, E Pluribus Unum, and One Dollar.

Minted in Philadelphia, this Centennial Silver Dollar is a brilliant reminder of the values so well demonstrated by the Boy Scout Oath®--duty and service to God, country, and Fellow-man. It is a treasure of memory for every Scout.
