1st Corps Sustainment Command

Carry this coin if you are one of the essential personnel who make the US Army 1st Corps Sustainment Command the backbone of the CENTCOM mission. Beautifully rendering 1st Sustainment Command’s red, white and blue disc featuring its diagonal arrow pointing to 1030 hours – because the mission is always accomplished prior to the eleventh hour – this coin is the perfect object to sustain the men and women who sustain so many others.

First activated at Fort Bragg 8 September, 1952 as Headquarters Company, the 1st Corps Sustainment Command (Theater) is the sixth redesignation of the original unit. Today, the 1st TSC’s principal mission is to supervise, observe and contribute knowledge to other logistic units deploying within the 27-nation CENTCOM theater of operations.

This coin salutes the skillful and dedicated service of all who have served in the US Army 1st Corps Sustainment Command, providing whatever is needed, wherever it’s needed. The obverse bears the official shoulder sleeve insignia, while the reverse bears the Great Seal of the United States and the legend, “United States Army.”

Minted in a brass alloy and finished in antique bronze, this coin is imbued with rich enamel accents on both sides. Each coin comes packaged with a detailed header card that describes the mission and history of the US Army 1st Corps Sustainment Command (Theater).
