1993 Bill of Rights Commemorative Silver Half Dollar and James Madison Medal

Limiting the Constitutional power of the government and protecting our natural rights of liberty and property, the Bill of Rights remains a glorious symbol of our freedoms and the culture of our nation. To commemorate the ratification of the Bill of Rights, and their principle author James Madison, Congress authorized the Bill of Rights Commemorative Silver Half Dollar and James Madison Medal Set from the US Mint.

This US Mint Commemorative Set includes a 1993 Bill of Rights Commemorative Uncirculated Silver Half Dollar, minted in 90% Silver containing .3867 Troy oz of silver, and The James Madison Presidential Bronze Medal. The obverse of the silver half dollar was designed by T. James Farrell and depicts James Madison penning the Bill of Rights. The reverse, by Dean McMullen, features the torch of freedom.

The James Madison Presidential Bronze Medal displays a profile of the fourth President on the obverse. The reverse depicts two hands shaking in friendship.

Minted in 1993 by the US Mint, this coin set is in uncirculated condition and includes the original US Mint packaging with certificate of authenticity. Whether you are a young collector just starting out, or a seasoned veteran finishing a set, own this 1993 Bill of Rights Commemorative set today.
