Together, as a team rooting for this nation to succeed in the cause of freedom, all free peoples across the globe stand side by side in support of our home, the land of the free and the brave. Team USA is an idea that’s bigger than we are; it’s born in liberty and the love of what’s right.

The Pledge of Allegiance captures the intense spirit of our country and the unity Americans feel as we look at our flag and remember what it stands for. Originally composed by Francis Bellamy in 1892, the pledge helps us recall our nation’s identity and founding principles of liberty and justice. It also reminds us that we have a republic, not a democracy, one that has stood the tests and tribulations of war, depression, and famine. We are a nation made stronger through adversity and common strength.

Minted in the USA from nickel alloy, using special deep-relief coining dies, and hand-finished with an antique patina for exceptional quality and detail, this coin pays tribute to America and the freedoms it promises and protects. The obverse depicts the modern American Flag with the words “TEAM USA” above and below. The reverse features thirteen stars, standing for thirteen colonies, and a text of the Pledge of Allegiance:

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
