2015 U.S. Mint America the Beautiful Homestead National Monument of America Three-Coin Set – Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco
The twenty-sixth coin in the U.S. Mint’s popular America the Beautiful Quarters series, this 2015 America the Beautiful Homestead National Monument of America 3-coin set depicts the three survival basics that all homesteaders knew: food, water, and shelter.
An ideal gift item for fans of our national parks – especially Homestead National Monument of America – as well as for beginning coin collectors, the set contains three uncirculated Homestead National Monument of America quarters - one each from the Philadelphia U.S. Mint, the Denver U.S. Mint, and from the San Francisco U.S. Mint.
In all, there will be up to 56 specially designed numismatic offerings between 2010 and 2021.
Established as a national site in 1936, Homestead National Monument of America breathes life into the epic story of early homesteaders and exhibits the extreme importance of the Homestead Act of 1862. The Homestead Act granted free land, thereby allowing nearly any man or woman the opportunity to take part in the American dream of owning a piece of land. The monument’s Heritage Center was uniquely designed to offer a hilltop vista of the tallgrass prairie as the original American pioneers would have viewed it.
This three quarter set comes packaged in a clear plastic coin flip.
